Cloud 9 has teamed up with OpenSRS to provide domain name registration, providing you with an affordable, reliable, and easy to maintain system. Whether you have a single domain or a dozen, Cloud 9 can save you money on your annual registration and provide you a single bill for your Internet access, web hosting, and domain registrations.

Cloud 9 can register a new domain name for you or your organization, or transfer a soon to expire domain name to our registrar. New domains have to be registered for a period of 2 years, while transfered domains are initially registered for 1 year. Subsequent renewals can be for up to 10 years.

Changes to your domain registration information can be made instantly via a secure web site. Your domain will be protected from unauthorized transfer attempts or other tampering.

You're not forced to use Cloud 9's domain name servers, or our Web Hosting service. You can register or transfer names with us and host your site in-house, at another provider, or just hold onto the name for future use.

Domains cannot be transferred if they are within 60 days of their expiration date, or if they have already expired. Recently registered domains can only be transferred once they are 60 days old. Domain registration fees are non-refundable.
